How quick should a Realtor respond?

In this instantaneous gratification society we live in, one would think that a Realtor, would have a reaction to a lead as quick as possible. I can’t put a number on the amount of times that it’s been brought to my attention how fast my response is compared to my competition. I don’t want this to come off as “blowing my own horn” as that is not the reason behind this post at all. It is just something that I believe needs to be stated.

It is unimaginable to me, with the exception of emergencies, why this delayed or worst yet, non response occurs. With texting, emailing, phone calls, facebook instant messaging, etc., relatively quick contact response should be a no- brainer.

The same applies to agent to agent response. Obviously, in my opinion, the response here needn’t be as quick, but still should be in a timely manner. It’s just common and good business for us (Realtors) and our Clients.
