The Final Walk Thru

One of the most important parts of the process in purchasing a home is the “final glance” of the residence you are about to sign numerous papers for at the closing table. The time element of the event is not very long, for sure, but plays a very important part. Mr. or Mrs Buyer needs to be assured that the contents and quality of the dwelling is exactly how they believed it would be when they begin the process of moving in.

More times than not this process goes well, but there are those occasions when the opposite is true. Possibilities to look for: items left behind of sellers not agreed upon, damage that was not in home prior to, utilities switched to new owners(should really be done prior to this), and last but not least, Sellers being entirely out, so there are no surprises upon return, after the Closing is complete.
